The official website for the television anime adaptation of MOJIKAKIYA’s light novel series, “My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer,” has unveiled two additional cast members.

Joining the project are Takeshi Mori, known for his work on series like “Otaku no Video” and “Vandread,” serving as the chief director, while Naoki Murata takes on the role of anime director at Typhoon Graphics. Overseeing the series scripts is Yūichirō Momose, recognized for contributions to “So I’m a Spider, So What?” and “Infinite Dendrogram.”

In charge of character design and acting as chief animation director is Jun Shibata, renowned for projects like “Ninja Nonsense” and “The Skull Man.”

Yoshino Nanjō has been selected to perform the anime’s opening theme song titled “Sen,” adding her musical prowess to the project. Meanwhile, the ending theme song “homeward journey” will be delivered by the talented Nagi Yanagi.
J-Novel Club handles the English release of the light novel series. The story revolves around Belgrieve, an adventurer whose dreams are dashed after a tragic encounter costs him his leg. Despite his setback, fate takes an unexpected turn when he discovers an abandoned baby girl during his herb-gathering endeavors. Naming her Angeline, he raises her as his own. Angeline, now a skilled S-rank adventurer, seeks not fame or power, but a heartfelt reunion with her adoptive father.

MOJIKAKIYA initiated the web novels on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2017, concluding the series in 2020.

The 11th and final light novel volume was published by Earth Star Entertainment in November 2021. Accompanying the novels is a manga adaptation illustrated by Kū Urushibara.
