After the good success of the first season, Netflix has confirmed another season for the Greek mythology-inspired original anime series Blood of Zeus. The official announcement came from @NXOnNetflix Twitter account. “The Fates have news!” the post reads. “Heron’s adventures will continue in Season 2 of Blood of Zeus.”
Blood of Zeus is a Netflix Original anime series created by Charley and Vlas Parlapanides. The production studio behind the anime, Powerhouse Animation Studios, is also behind other successful Originals such as Castlevania, and Seis Manos. Blood of Zeus Season 1 has already been met with acclaim, currently holding a 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 19 reviews, as well as an 80% audience score based on 379 user ratings. Prior to Netflix officially greenlighting Season 2, the Parlapanides brothers explained they have plans for five seasons.
Created by Charley and Vlas Parlapanides, Blood of Zeus stars Derek Phillips, Jason O’Mara, Claudia Christian, Elias Toufexis, Mamie Gummer, Chris Diamantopoulos, Jessica Henwick, Melina Kanakaredes, Matthew Mercer, Adetokumboh M’Cormack and Adam Croasdell.
The Blood of Zeus anime is also available in Hindi Dubbed on Netflix India.
