On Wednesday, FIVECROSS launched a website to unveil their latest creation: Kuroko’s Basketball Street Rivals, a thrilling 3D smartphone game inspired by Tadatoshi Fujimaki’s renowned manga series, Kuroko’s Basketball. Fans of the anime adaptation will be delighted to know that the game is scheduled to be released later this year.

In this game, players have the opportunity to cultivate various characters like Tetsuya Kuroko and Taiga Kagami, engaging in exhilarating basketball showdowns.

The inaugural television anime series debuted in 2012, succeeded by a second season in 2013 and a third season in 2015. The anime film adaptation of Tadatoshi Fujimaki’s Kuroko no Basuke Extra Game sequel manga, titled Kuroko’s Basketball: Last Game (Gekijōban Kuroko no Basuke Last Game), premiered in Japan in March 2017.
From 2008 to 2014, Fujimaki published his basketball manga, “Kuroko’s Basketball,” in the popular Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The English version of the manga was subsequently released by Viz Media.
The anime franchise kicked off its 10th anniversary festivities, spanning from April 2022 to March of this year. The commemoration featured a fresh track by GRANRODEO and Kensho Ono, accompanied by a captivating music video showcasing never-before-seen anime scenes. Additionally, the celebration encompassed captivating exhibitions of key art and stunning displays honoring the franchise’s decade-long journey.
