Arknights fans rejoice! The eagerly anticipated anime adaptation, “Arknights: Perish in Frost,” has unveiled new cast members in its second teaser. The excitement builds as the roster of characters grows, promising a thrilling and action-packed series.
The Arknights: Perish in Frost television anime’s official Twitter account released a second teaser video with English subtitles on Saturday. The anime’s Prelude to Dawn premiered in October 2022, consisting of eight episodes, and was streamed by Crunchyroll during its Japanese broadcast.

The game’s development began in China, where Studio Montagne and Hypergryph launched it in May 2019.
Yostar later brought the game to a global audience in January 2020. Since 2019, the game has already inspired numerous animated promotional videos, including the nine-minute “Holy Knight Light” short celebrating its first anniversary in December 2021.
Set in the fantasy realm of Terra, the game blends modern science-fiction elements. This world faces periodic Catastrophes, rare but devastating events that force people to live in nomadic cities.
Catastrophes also bring forth Originium, a valuable mineral with high energy but the destructive ability to consume everything in its path as it grows. Unfortunately, prolonged exposure to Originium leads to the debilitating Oripathy disease.

The story revolves around the lives of Oripathy-infected individuals, finding solace in the roving medical company, Rhodes Island. Rhodes Island provides a safe haven and support for the often-shunned Infected. However, the company often finds itself undertaking ad-hoc paramilitary actions against the Reunion Movement, a terrorist organization targeting governments that oppress the Infected.
