Steering the anime as director is Hideki Tachibana, known for his work on “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?” and “Chaos Dragon,” while character design and chief animation direction are handled by Shoko Takimoto, recognized for contributions to “ORESUKI: Are you the only one who loves me?,” “Chaos Dragon,” and “Death March to The Parallel World Rhapsody.” Supervising the series scripts is Keiichirō Ōchi, who has lent their talent to “The Quintessential Quintuplets” and “Girlfriend, Girlfriend.”

The story delves into the lives of Yūhi and Yasumi, both voice actresses attending the same high school and sharing a classroom. Together, they host a radio program. However, beyond the microphone, Yasumi reveals her true self as Yumiko, a fashionable gal, while Yūhi embodies the reserved and introverted Chika. Their contrasting appearances and personalities often lead to heated arguments when they are not on air.
Taking on the roles of Yasumi Utatane/Yumiko Satō is the talented Miku Itō, who previously voiced the character in a promotional video for the light novel series back in 2020. Likewise, Moe Toyota lends her voice to Yūhi Yūgure/Chika Watanabe, having also participated in the aforementioned promotional video.
The novel series, penned by Nogatsu and illustrated by Sabamizore, made its debut in February 2020 and recently released its eighth volume on January 7. Additionally, Umemi Makimoto adapted the story into a manga in Kadokawa’s Dengeki Maoh magazine starting from March 2020, which concluded in July 2021 with the publication of its third and final compiled volume in September 2021.
