New Ending Sequence for Soaring Sky! Pretty Cure Anime Now Available!

The official website for Hirogaru Sky! Precure, the 20th installment of the beloved Precure television anime series, released a pristine version of the anime’s second ending credits sequence. This visually captivating sequence showcases the enchanting song “Dear Shine Sky” by the talented Chihaya Yoshitake.

Audiences were delighted to experience the debut of this mesmerizing song and the accompanying new ending sequence in the anime’s 22nd episode on July 2nd.

The anime debuted on Asahi Broadcasting Corporation TV, TV Asahi, and 22 partner stations on February 5th. Crunchyroll is currently streaming the anime concurrently with its Japanese airing.

The main cast members are:

  • Ai Kakuma as Mashiro Nijigaoka/Cure Prism, the Precure of light
  • Ayaka Nanase as Ageha Hijiri/Cure Butterfly, a Precure who has recently become an adult at the age of 18-years-old
  • Aoi Koga as Ellee
  • Ayumu Murase as Tsubasa Yuunagi/Cure Wing, the first male Precure
  • Akira Sekine as Sora Harewataaru/Cure Sky, the Precure of the heavens

In this new anime, the central motif revolves around the vast expanse of the “sky,” while the overarching theme centers on the concept of a “hero.” The captivating narrative unfolds in two distinct realms inhabited by the courageous Precure girls: the ethereal domain known as Skyland and Sorashido, a picturesque city nestled amidst nature’s embrace. A fateful event takes place when the monstrous denizens of the Underg Empire snatch the youthful Princess Ellee from the celestial abode. Driven by her unwavering determination to become a hero, Sora Harewataaru embarks on a perilous journey, following the princess into an enigmatic abyss only to emerge in an entirely different world—the vibrant city of Sorashido. Here, Sora’s path intertwines with that of Mashiro Nijigaoka, a spirited second-year junior high school student, leading them to share a dwelling where they welcome Ellee into their midst.

Kouji Ogawa, known for his work on World Trigger, GeGeGe no Kitarō, Precure All Stars New Stage 2: Kokoro no Tomodachi, and Eiga Precure All Stars New Stage 3: Eien no Tomodachi, makes a triumphant return to the franchise as the esteemed series director at Toei Animation. Joining him is the talented Ryunosuke Kingetsu, renowned for his involvement in Futakoi Alternative, Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight!, and Ulysses: Jeanne d’Arc and the Alchemist Knight, who takes the helm as the mastermind behind the series’ scripts. Furthermore, Atsushi Saitō, recognized for his exceptional work in Love Live! Superstar!! and Black Fox, graces the project by crafting exquisite character designs that are sure to captivate viewers.

Miki Imai serves as the art designer, while Aya Kadoguchi takes on the role of chief artist. Kumiko Yanagisawa excels as the color key artist. Erika Fukasawa, known for her work as an assistant on “Your Name” and her contributions to “Just Because!”, demonstrates her talent by composing the music.
