Kadokawa unveiled a captivating new visual during the 10th-anniversary event for the anime series Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya.
This visual showcased the anticipated sequel work titled “Licht Nameless Girl” (Gekijōban Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Licht – Namae no Nai Shōjo), set to continue the enthralling Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya franchise. The announcement of this sequel work was first made in August 2021.

In August 2021, the eagerly awaited Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya – Licht Nameless Girl premiered in Japan. The film’s success led to its release on home video and select digital platforms by Sentai Filmworks.
Hiroshi Hiroyama’s original manga is a brilliant reimagining of Fate/stay night character Illyasviel von Einzbern, presenting her as a magical girl within an alternate universe.
The manga’s serialization began in Kadokawa Shoten’s Comp Ace magazine from 2007 to 2008, followed by several compelling sequel manga series. The latest installment, which resumed in June, is steadily building towards an epic climax.
The manga’s immense popularity has translated into four television anime series: Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei!, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei Herz!, and Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!!. The fourth series, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!!, made its debut in July 2016.
Before the upcoming sequel, the franchise has already treated fans to the enchanting anime film, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya: Vow in the Snow, which premiered in Japan in August 2017.
