The official Twitter account for the “Hasu no Sora Jōgakuin School Idol Club,” a virtual school idol project within the Love Live! franchise, has announced an upcoming manga adaptation. This manga, titled “Love Live! flowers* – Hasu no Sora Jōgakuin School Idol Club,” is set to debut in Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine in its December issue on November 17.
The artwork for the manga will be handled by Tsumumi (known for “Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant!”), with story collaboration by Ten Tanaka. Notably, the manga will grace the front cover of the issue and include a color opening page.
Ten Tanaka, part of the writer team Flag Notes, also shared that their group is actively contributing to the scenario writing for the broader “Hasu no Sora Jōgakuin School Idol Club” project.
The “Hasu no Sora Jōgakuin School Idol Club” consists of six members: Kaho Hinoshita, Sayaka Murano, Kozue Otomune, Tsuzuri Yugiri, Rurino Osawa, and Megumi Fujishima, all integral to the Love Live! franchise. This idol group is prominently featured in the Link! Like! Love Live! smartphone app, which made its debut on April 15.
The character designs for the project are crafted by Haruko Iizuka (known for works like “Little Busters!” and “Horimiya”), and the game is published by Odd No. Inc. Their first album, “Dream Believers,” successfully launched on March 29.
The project aims to immerse fans in the story “alongside school idols for 365 days” and offers players the chance to “embark on the journey to graduation with these girls.”
Beyond the smartphone app, the idol club members, along with their respective cast, will engage with fans through video streams, magazine appearances, music CD releases, and live concerts, spanning diverse media platforms.
