Emerging from her slumber, reclusive vampire Terakomari—also known as Komari—finds herself unexpectedly promoted to army commander. However, her new squad is infamous for its rebellious nature. Despite being born into a prestigious vampire lineage, Komari’s aversion to blood has rendered her an image of mediocrity—frail, uncoordinated, and lacking magical prowess. Can the aid of her loyal maid be sufficient for this introvert to stumble her way towards triumph?
The novels, accompanied by illustrations from Riichu, commenced publication in January 2020 under SB Creative Corp. Riichu’s manga adaptation launched in Square Enix’s Big Gangan magazine in December 2021.
