The third promotional video for the television anime adaptation of Kotei Kobayashi’s “The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess” (Hikikomari Kyūketsuki no Monmon) light novels was unveiled on Friday on the official website. Offering a glimpse into the series, the video provides a preview of the opening theme song “Red Liberation,” performed by fripSide.

Furthermore, the release date for the anime was disclosed in the video—October 7—scheduled to premiere on Tokyo MX and BS-NTV. Alongside this announcement, the production team introduced three new cast members and unveiled an updated visual, enriching the anticipation for the upcoming show.

Tatsuma Minamikawa, known for works like “Wave, Listen to Me!” and “Fire Force,” takes the director’s chair at project No.9 for this series. Overseeing the series composition is Keiichirō Ōchi, recognized for his work on “The Quintessential Quintuplets” and “The Demon Girl Next Door.” Tomoyuki Shimoya, acclaimed for character design in “Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma,” lends his artistic touch. Gō Shiina, celebrated for composing music for “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” creates the musical score.
The ending theme song “Nemurenai feat. Kusunoki Tomori” will be performed by MIMiNARI.
