Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed on Thursday that Tekken 8, the latest installment in the popular fighting game series, will feature Claudio Serafino as a playable character, who made his debut in Tekken 7.
Closed network testing for PlayStation 5 will commence on Friday, and for Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam on July 28, with cross-play support included. Excitingly, the game will also be available to play at various events, including the highly anticipated EVO 2023 on August 4.
Tekken 8 is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, but Bandai Namco Entertainment has yet to announce an official release date. Players will have the chance to control iconic characters like Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, Nina Williams, Jun Kazama, and more in the game.

Previously, Tekken 7 was released in June 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam. Additionally, fans were treated to the Tekken: Bloodline anime series, which delves into the storyline of the Tekken 3 fighting game, and it premiered on Netflix in August 2022.
