“Osomatsu-san” is based on Fujio Akatsuka’s manga “Osomatsu-kun”. The extreme gag is gaining popularity mainly among female anime fans. The first period of television was broadcast from October 2015 to March 2016, the second period was broadcast from October 2017 to March 2018, and the third period was broadcast from October 2020 to March 2021.

TV anime, which focuses on the Matsuno family with six mischievous and mischievous children (who are sextuplets). All the sextuplets, including the oldest of the Osomatsu, are all in love with the same girl, Totoko. The original Osomatsu-kun series followed the family when the children were 10 years old. Osomatsu reimagines the original manga and television anime with the sextuplets as adults.

The third season premiered last October. Crunchyroll streamed the season as it aired in Japan. The anime’s second course (quarter of the year) premiered on January 4. The movie version “Eiga no Osomatsu-san” was released in March 2019.

The series has also inspired several videos. More recently, the franchise inspired a three-episode Valentine-themed short series titled Chocomatsu-san Valentine’s Day-hen and another three-episode short series titled Chocomatsu-san White Day-hen in February and March, respectively.

Viz Media acquired the rights to digital broadcast, electronic direct sales, home video and merchandise for the Mr. Osomatsu anime, including the second season. Viz Media is releasing the anime with an English dub.
