On Wednesday, the official website for Tokyo Revengers 2, the live-action film sequels based on Ken Wakui’s Tokyo Revengers manga, released an enticing new character promotional video for the second installment titled Chi no Halloween -Kessen- (Bloody Halloween -Decisive Battle-). The video takes center stage to showcase the prominent characters Mikey and Kazutora, captivating audiences with their compelling presence.

The initial sequel movie, Chi no Halloween -Unmei- (Bloody Halloween -Fate-), premiered on April 21st, whereas the subsequent installment, Chi no Halloween -Kessen- (Bloody Halloween -Decisive Battle-), is scheduled to release on June 30th.
Takumi Kitamura reprises his role as Takemichi Hanagaki in the sequel films, joined by returning cast members Ryō Yoshizawa as Mikey and Yuki Yamada as Draken. Director Tsutomu Hanabusa and producer Shota Okada also make a comeback. Kento Nagayama joins as Keisuke Baji, Nijirō Murakami as Kazutora Hanemiya, and Mahiro Takasugi as Chifuyu Matsuno. Taketo Tanaka portrays Chome. The first film features the captivating theme song “Gradation” performed by SUPER BEAVER, while the second film showcases their equally enchanting track “Hakanakunai” (Not Merely Fleeting).

The initial Tokyo Revengers live-action movie premiered in Japan during July 2021 and secured the top spot among live-action films in the country that year. Crunchyroll is globally streaming the movie, except in Asia, Spain, and Latin America.
Wakui debuted the manga in March 2017 within the pages of Weekly Shōnen Magazine. The manga concluded on November 16, while the same magazine continues to publish the Tokyo Revengers Extra spinoff manga, which delves into the origins of the Tokyo Manji Gang.

The manga’s TV anime adaptation debuted in April 2021, with Crunchyroll streaming it simultaneously with its Japanese broadcast. The anime’s Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown arc premiered on January 7. Additionally, the manga’s Tenjiku Arc is slated to receive an upcoming anime adaptation.
