On Tuesday, the official website for Yugo Aosaki’s Undead Girl Murder Farce novels unveiled a promotional video, a fresh visual, and more cast members for the anime’s second part, titled “Diamond Sōdatsu-hen” (Struggle for the Diamond).
The eagerly awaited second part will kick off from its fifth episode on Wednesday.

The anime premiered on Fuji TV’s +Ultra block on July 5. Crunchyroll globally streams the series, except for Asia, where it airs in Japan as Undead Murder Farce.
Mamoru Hatakeyama (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) directs the anime at Lapin Track. Handling series composition is Noboru Takagi (Golden Kamuy). Noriko Itou (Kakegurui) designs the characters, based on original designs by Iwamoto05. Naho Kozono (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) serves as sub-character designer and chief animation director. Composing the music is Yuma Yamaguchi (I’M KODAMA KAWASHIRI). Kazuhiro Wakabayashi (Bungo Stray Dogs) acts as the sound director.

When confronted with a monstrous case, it takes one to know one, and the truth behind the detective’s identity might just hold the key to solving the case. Haruka Tomoyama began the manga adaptation in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine in June 2016. The manga subsequently transitioned to Nemesis magazine in June 2017, before finally finding its home on the Comic Days website in September 2018.
