The completely new TV animation “Urusei Yatsura” will be broadcast on Fuji TV “Noitamina” and others from October 2022. The first key visual and PV have been released. “Urusei Yatsura” is a romantic comedy based on the brilliant debut work by Rumiko Takahashi, a manga artist who is still active at the forefront. The story begins with the encounter between Ataru Moroboshi, the “most evil” high school student on Earth, and the beautiful girl Ram, a “demon girl” who flew down from outer space.
In commemoration of Shogakukan’s 100th anniversary, the selected original episodes will be made into a completely new TV animation for all 4 courses. Hiroshi Kamiya will play the role of the main character, Ataru Moroboshi, aka “Darling”, and Sumire Uesaka will play the role of the heroine Lum.
