Nikke Taino’s boys-love (BL) manga, “My Personal Weatherman” (Taikan Yohō), is set to captivate audiences with a live-action TV adaptation, premiering on MBS’ esteemed Drama Shower block on August 10. This highly anticipated series will also be broadcasted on TV Kanagawa, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, TV Saitama, and Chiba TV, ensuring its widespread viewership.
Additionally, starting from October 15, fans can tune in to LaLa TV to experience the charm of this enthralling story brought to life.
Kohei Higuchi is set to take on the role of Mizuki Segasaki, while Atsuki Mashiko, a member of the popular group GENIC, will co-star as Yoh Tanada.
Directorial duties for the eight-episode series will be shared by Ayaka Katō, Shinju Funabiki, and Emi Yasumura. Natsuki Takahashi and Funabiki are teaming up to craft the script. The musical composition will be skillfully handled by Ryō Watanabe and Shifumi Kōchi.

Furthermore, Taino also delighted fans with the release of another manga titled “The Black Cat & the Vampire” (Kishukusha no Kuroneko wa Yoru wo Shiranai) in Tokuma Shoten’s esteemed Chara magazine in 2021. The mesmerizing story enchanted readers, prompting Tokuma Shoten to publish the two compiled volumes in July of the same year. Fans worldwide can rejoice as Tokyopop plans to launch the English version of the manga’s first volume under their new imprint LoveLove on October 10.
