
Fumi Yoshinaga’s “Ooku” will be made into a TV drama. The broadcast will start in January 2023 on NHK General. Serialized in Melody (Hakusensha) from 2004 to 2020, “Ooku” is a sci-fi historical drama set in the Edo period, when a mysterious epidemic that only attacked boys spread throughout the country, causing the number of boys to plummet.
