Since then, Shueisha has published the manga’s 11th compiled volume on March 17, with the 12th volume set to release on July 19. Yen Press also contributed to the series by publishing the second volume on May 23. For English readers, Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service offers digital releases of the manga. As a recent addition, Akasaka released a compelling short story titled “45510,” which offers a fresh perspective on the idol character Ai.
The manga achieved a remarkable feat in 2021, emerging victorious as the top entry in the seventh “Next Manga Awards” (Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishō). Furthermore, it clinched the esteemed title of Best General Manga in the 46th annual Kodansha Manga Awards the previous year. Notably, this series received nominations for the 26th Annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize as well as the 14th and 15th Manga Taisho Awards. Its popularity was evident, as it secured the seventh spot on the coveted top 20 list of manga for male readers in the 2022 edition of Takarajimasha’s Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This Manga Is Amazing!) guidebook. Impressively, the manga has circulated over 3 million copies to date.
