During the recent Pokémon Presents livestream this Tuesday, an exciting announcement surfaced—Pokémon GO, the popular smartphone game, is set to introduce creatures from the Paldean region of the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games this coming September.

A captivating teaser within the trailer showcased the three starter Pokémon of these games: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.

Notably, the game had previously incorporated Pokémon from the Alola region, including its starters from the Pokémon Sun and Moon games, during the month of February in 2022. Subsequently, in August 2021, the app expanded its roster by including select Pokémon from the Galar region, derived from the Pokémon Sword and Shield games. Intriguingly, the app has yet to include the starter Pokémon from the Galar region.
The collaborative effort of Niantic and The Pokémon Company International led to the launch of the Pokémon GO app, initially debuting in specific countries, including the United States, back in July 2016.

Turning to the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games, their global release on Nintendo Switch took place in November 2022. Adding to the excitement, an upcoming DLC titled “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero,” divided into two parts, is on the horizon. The first segment, named “The Teal Mask,” is slated for a September 13th launch, with the second part, “The Indigo Disk,” scheduled for release during the winter period.
