Paradox Live Anime: October 3rd Premiere with Theme Song Artists Unveiled

The Twitter account and official website of the Paradox Live franchise made a significant announcement on Wednesday. They unveiled the theme song performers, additional staff members, and the premiere date for the highly-anticipated Paradox Live The Animation series, which is set to debut on October 3rd.

The opening theme song, titled “RISE UP,” will be performed by four dynamic teams: BAE, The Cat’s Whiskers, cozmez, and Akan Yatsura. Meanwhile, the closing theme song, “Every Day Every Night,” will be skillfully brought to life by the talented team known as Buraikan.

The anime is set to make its debut on the Tokyo MX channel on October 3rd, airing at 11:00 p.m. JST (equivalent to 10:00 a.m. EDT). Additionally, it will be broadcast on BS Fuji starting at 24:30 JST, essentially launching on October 4th at 12:30 a.m. For those looking forward to it, the anime will also be available for viewing on Animax Japan starting on October 7th, with the airing scheduled for 10:00 p.m. JST. Japanese audiences can catch the anime via streaming services like ABEMA, Anime Times, d Anime Store, and Lemino.

Before its official release, there’s an exclusive screening event titled “Paradox Live The Animation Special Start Event” scheduled for September 30th. This event will take place at Westa Kawagoe in Saitama, offering fans an early glimpse of the anime.

Naoya Ando, known for his directorial roles in Aikatsu!, Love Live! Sunshine!!, and PriPara, is at the helm of Paradox Live The Animation, produced by PINE JAM. Overseeing and crafting the series scripts is Takayo Ikami, renowned for her work on Beautiful Bones -Sakurako’s Investigation-, Dances with the Dragons, and Penguindrum. The characters’ designs are masterfully handled by Koji Haneda, celebrated for his contributions to The Faraway Paladin and the Initial D: Legend films.

This avant-garde multimedia project, jointly created by Avex and GCREST, unfolds in a futuristic setting. It revolves around hip-hop artists who don accessories infused with a mysterious metallic substance known as Phantom Metal. Through a chemical reaction with their own DNA, these artists conjure illusions intimately tied to their emotional states during electrifying performances, giving rise to an entirely innovative concert experience.
