PVR Pictures Announces My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising Releasing 12th March

PVR Picture’s official Twitter handle tweeted on 3rd March that the anime movie My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising is going to be released in PVR cinemas on 12th March 2021. PVR Pictures is the film production and distribution arm of the PVR Group, India. Recently PVR also showed another film anime film of the same franchise named My Hero Academia: Two Heroes.

My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising is a movie Japanese manga and anime 2019 Kōhei Horikoshi Academy. The film was directed by Kenji Nagasaki, produced by Bones, and was released in Japan on December 20, 2019 and released in North America on February 26, 2020, garnering positive reviews from critics. The events of the film take place after the Meta Liberation Army arc in the My Hero Academia manga. The film has elements in its story that were once used by Horikoshi as the series finale. It was slated to be the last film in the series, until footage from a possible third film appeared online. A third film in the series is expected to premiere in summer 2021.

PVR Cinemas released the Dragon Ball Super: Broly in India on March 29, 2019, making it the first film of its franchise to be theatrically released in India. They also released Makoto Shinkai’s Weathering With You anime film in India in October 2019 after a successful fan campaign. PVR Cinemas’ official Instagram page responded to fan inquiries about Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train anime film India release. The comment stated that they are in touch with the official distributors of the anime movie.

In India My Hero Academia anime (4 Seasons) are available on Netflix.
