The television anime adaptation of Daiki Kobayashi’s manga “Ragna Crimson” unveiled its fourth promotional video and surprised fans with news of its substantial 24-episode length during an exclusive advance screening on Saturday.

These 24 episodes are set to be divided into two cours, spanning over the course of two quarters in a year.

In a thrilling casting update, Rina Hidaka has joined the ensemble as Starlia Lese, a regal princess who also serves as the formidable leader of the Silver Corps. Additionally, Rio Tsuchiya makes an exciting entry as Hezera and Grea, the enigmatic twins who are integral members of the Silver Corps.
The much-anticipated series is poised for its grand debut on September 30, captivating audiences on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11 with an enticing one-hour premiere episode.
Heading the creative team, Ken Takahashi, known for works like “Butlers x Battlers” and “Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!!,” takes the helm as director under SILVER LINK., while Deco Akao, recognized for contributions to “Amanchu!,” “Arakawa Under the Bridge,” and “Noragami,” takes charge of scriptwriting and series supervision.
Shinpei Aoki, a key animator with notable experience in the “Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya” franchise, lends his artistic prowess to character design. Musical brilliance is in the hands of Kōji Fujimoto (Sus4 Inc.) and Osamu Sasaki. Finally, ulma sound junction graces us with the opening theme song “ROAR,” adding an extra layer of excitement to this promising venture.

The manga is being published in English by Square Enix Manga & Books, and it unveils the tale of dragon hunters. These warriors wield unique silver weaponry to claim bounties by vanquishing their formidable prey.
Among the lowest-ranking hunters is Ragna, whose fate takes an unexpected turn when he forms an improbable partnership with Leonica, a brilliant young dragon slayer with a staggering kill count. Ragna’s sole desire is to remain at Leonica’s side, but their dreams are shattered when they face an assault from the most lethal dragon imaginable.

The manga commenced its journey in Gangan Joker in March 2017, and Square Enix announced in April 2021 that it was approaching its “ultimate showdown.” The story entered its concluding chapter with the release of the 11th volume in August 2022.
