The third season of Re: Zero will adapt the fifth arc of the light novel series, starting from volume 16 and extending to volume 20. This arc, titled ‘Stars That Engrave History,’ follows a chaotic and dangerous visit to Priestella, taking place a year after the events of the second season’s arc 4.
In the upcoming arc, a total war ensues between the powerful Archbishops and the knights of the kingdoms, leading to a final and ultimate showdown between Subaru, Emilia, and Reinhardt against the formidable Archbishop, Regulus Corneas, and his companions.
