Kouduki debuted the light novel series on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let’s Become Novelists) website in January 2018. The first volume of the novel series, featuring captivating illustrations by Chocoan, was published by TO Books in October 2018. Following its success, the fifth volume hit the shelves in February 2020.

This compelling light novel revolves around a world where formidable “blessings and gifts from the gods” are bestowed upon individuals upon reaching adulthood. The nature of these “gifts” determines their entire lives. Unfortunately, Allen, the protagonist, fails to acquire any such powers, becoming subject to ridicule, scorn, and ultimately banishment from his home. Seeking solace, he chooses to lead a tranquil existence in a remote land. However, unbeknownst to others, Allen harbors memories and powers from his past life as a heroic figure.
