In a thrilling reveal to fans and followers of the renowned manga artist Sakurako Gokurakuin, the July edition of Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine confirmed the launch of a new manga series, titled “Senban-sha Isekai Tsūshō-bu (The Trade Department of a Big Company in Another World).” The debut is slated to be featured in the publication’s forthcoming July 12th issue.
The fresh Isekai action-fantasy series is a vibrant diversion from Gokurakuin’s previous creations. This time, the story revolves around a female high school student who holds the unique position of a company president in an alternate world. She embarks on an electrifying journey to save the world, promising to keep readers on the edge of their seats.

This eagerly anticipated series comes two years after Gokurakuin’s previous manga “Rokushō!” concluded in December 2020. This earlier work, originally launched in Monthly Shonen Gangan in November 2018, ran successfully for over two years, with Square Enix publishing the manga’s third and final compiled volume in February 2021.
Gokurakuin, best known for her long-running and highly popular series “Sekirei,” ended the fan-favorite manga in August 2015. Running from 2004 to 2015, Sekirei inspired two anime adaptations in 2008 and 2010, both of which were released in North America by Funimation. Yen Press took over the digital release of the Sekirei manga in 2015 and expanded the series into print in July 2017.
Apart from her standalone works, Gokurakuin demonstrated her creative versatility by launching “Saki re: King’s Tile Draw,” a spinoff manga of Ritz Kobayashi’s Saki, in March 2020. Square Enix is also set to publish the second volume of this spinoff on July 25.
With a proven track record of producing captivating manga and her distinct artistic style, Sakurako Gokurakuin’s new series is eagerly awaited by fans worldwide.
