Requiem of the Rose King Manga is Getting a Stage Play

Requiem of the Rose King (or Bara-Ō no Sōretsu) Manga by Aya Kanno is going to be adapted into a Stage Play. The stage play will open in Nippon Seinenkan Hall in Tokyo, June 2022.

The Director of the Requiem of the Rose King stage play is Fumiya Matsuzaki (known for his work in stage plays of Danganronpa 2 and xxxHOLiC). The person in charge of screenplay writing is Hiroki Uchida.

Furthermore, Hiroki Uchida is also in charge of scriptwriting of Requiem of the Rose King T.V anime. The T.V anime premiered on Tokyo MX and Funimation is a distributor in the west. Moreover, the anime series will air in two colours and it will run for the whole year of 2022. 

The Manga was debuted in October 2013 in Monthly Princess Magazine by Akta Shoten. Moreover, the manga is now complete and its last chapter was released this Thursday. 

The Requiem of the Rose King manga is quite popular with a Light Novel adaptation, T.V anime and next Stage Play in June 2022. Well, Viz Media is in charge of English translation and distributor in the west of the manga. Below you will get the synopsis of the story: 

Richard’s father, the patriarch of the House of York, is poised to become king of medieval England during the bloody Wars of the Roses. But just as success is imminent, he is abruptly cut down. Plunged into despair, Richard acts out in revenge and must face a powerful and beautiful new enemy.

The opening theme song “Ware, Bari ni Insu” is created by Vice actor Makoto Furukawa along with Arika Takarno from Ali Project. And “Akumi” , the ending theme song will be performed by ZAQ.
