The official website for the anime adaptation of Daiki Kobayashi’s Ragna Crimson manga unveiled two additional cast members for the show. Joining the ensemble are Rina Hidaka, taking on the role of Starlia Lese, a princess and leader of the Silver Corps, and Rio Tsuchiya, who will portray twins Hezera and Grea, also members of the Silver Corps.
Scheduled to debut on September 30, the series will premiere on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11, inaugurating with an extended one-hour inaugural episode. An exclusive early screening of the first episode is set for September 2 at Shinjuku Piccadilly Cinema, featuring the presence of the cast.

Overseeing the production is director Ken Takahashi (known for Butlers x Battlers, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!!), leading the project at SILVER LINK. The script creation and supervision is helmed by Deco Akao (renowned for works like Amanchu!, Arakawa Under the Bridge, Noragami). Responsible for character design is Shinpei Aoki (noted for key animation in the Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya franchise), while music composition duties are divided between Kōji Fujimoto (Sus4 Inc.) and Osamu Sasaki. The opening theme song “ROAR” will be performed by ulma sound junction.

The manga’s English publication is handled by Square Enix Manga & Books, with the following storyline:
Dragon hunters: equipped with unique silver weaponry, these warriors eliminate their quarry to claim rewards. In this hierarchy, Ragna holds the lowest position. Unexpectedly, he forges a partnership with the young prodigy Leonica, a seasoned dragon slayer with an unmatched kill count. Ragna’s sole desire is to remain at Leonica’s side, yet his aspiration is crushed by an assault from the most lethal dragon imaginable.

Debuting in Gangan Joker in March 2017, Kobayashi’s manga took its final steps towards its climactic confrontation as Square Enix revealed in April 2021. The manga delved into its ultimate narrative arc with the release of its 11th volume in August 2022.
