“Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective,” the highly anticipated anime series, has released its second teaser trailer, giving fans a glimpse into the thrilling world of the deranged detective. The teaser introduces an expanded cast of intriguing characters, adding more depth to the show’s intricate storyline.
Anime enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the series’ premiere to unravel the mysteries alongside Ron Kamonohashi, promising an enthralling and mind-bending experience.

Kadokawa recently unveiled a second teaser visual and announced additional cast members for the highly anticipated anime adaptation of Akira Amano’s manga, “Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective” (Kamonohashi Ron no Kindan Suiri).
The inaugural season of the anime is set to debut in October.
The leading roles will be portrayed by:
- Junya Enoki as Totomaru “Toto” Ishiki
- Yōhei Azakami as Ron Kamonohashi
Joining the cast are Yōko Hikasa as Amamiya and Taku Yashiro as Spitz Feier. With the guidance of director Shōta Ihata (known for his work on “Girlish Number” and “The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent”), the anime is being produced by diomedéa. The series scripts are being overseen by Wataru Watari, who has previously excelled as both the light novel and anime scriptwriter for “Girlish Number.”
Meanwhile, Masakazu Ishikawa (credited for “Squid Girl” and “The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent”) is responsible for adapting the character designs into animation. Yo Tsuji (known for “Miss Hokusai”) has been enlisted by Kadokawa to compose the music for the series. Unison Square Garden, the popular musical duo, will be performing the anime’s opening theme song, titled “Ikenai fool logic.”
“MANGA Plus” has been digitally releasing the manga in English and offers the following enticing summary: “This peculiar duo fearlessly exposes concealed truths! Ron Kamonohashi, a troubled private investigator, and Totomaru Ishiki, an innocent yet slightly clueless police detective, join forces to unravel the most perplexing mysteries! Since its launch on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website and app in October 2020, the manga has garnered immense popularity, with the 11th volume hitting the shelves on July 4th.
