Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions Anime, More Cast 2nd Promo

Kadokawa has just unveiled the second promotional video for the upcoming anime adaptation of Akira Amano’s manga, “Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective” (Kamonohashi Ron no Kindan Suiri). This eagerly anticipated “1st season” of the anime is set to make its debut on October 2nd, airing on AT-X, Tokyo MX, and various other channels.

Fans worldwide can also look forward to Crunchyroll streaming the anime, commencing on the same date, titled “Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions.”

Kadokawa also revealed more cast members:

For English-speaking fans, MANGA Plus offers the digital release of the manga, providing an insight into the storyline: In this unconventional partnership, Ron Kamonohashi, a private investigator grappling with his own quirks, joins forces with Totomaru Ishiki, an earnest yet somewhat dim-witted police detective.

Wataru Watari, the mastermind behind both the light novel and anime scripts for “Girlish Number,” assumes the role of overseeing the series’ scripts.

Meanwhile, the talented Masakazu Ishikawa, renowned for works like “Squid Girl” and “The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent,” expertly adapts the character designs for animation. The musical enchantment for this series comes courtesy of Yo Tsuji, the composer extraordinaire from Kadokawa.

The opening theme, titled “Ikenai fool logic,” resonates with the dynamic sounds of Unison Square Garden, while the rock band hockrockb serenades us with the captivating ending theme, “Lipsync.”

Amano, acclaimed for creations like “Reborn!” and “ēlDLIVE,” introduced this manga masterpiece on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website and app in October 2020. With the 11th volume having graced our shelves on July 4, eager fans can anticipate the arrival of the 12th volume on October 4.
