Furthermore, Zoro is the 9th member of the Strawhats who got his bronze statue. Characters like Luffy, Sanji, Ussop, Robin, and others already have one bronze statue in Japan. All these statues are located in Kumamoto, Japan and these statues are produced by the Kumamoto Government. Oyabun Jinbe will be the next one to get his bronze statue in the year 2022 or later.

Why do StrawHat’s have their bronze statue in Kumamoto?

Kumamoto is the birthplace of Eiichiro Oda, the creator and mangaka of One Piece manga. In 2016, there was a huge earthquake in Japan and Kumamoto was heavily damaged. Eiichiro Oda donated 800 million yen to Kumamoto which is 1.7 million in American Dollars.

Villagers celebrate these days like a festival, practising kondo, and dancing on the theme of One Piece. In Kumamoto, every statue gets a Pokemon Stop in the Pokemon Go game along with Roronoa Zoro. Well, you can also watch the inauguration of the statue on YouTube.
