However, due to unforeseen circumstances, these episodes have faced further delays. While the leaker’s post lacks visual evidence, they did share an intriguing fanart depicting Luffy wielding lightning in his Gear 5 transformation. Additionally, a stern message from the One Piece animation team warns of potential consequences for anyone found leaking unauthorized content, such as photos or clips, from these upcoming episodes before their official release.

Gear 5, Luffy’s most formidable transformation, is renowned for bestowing upon the food-loving pirate godlike powers. Recently, whispers regarding the much-anticipated episodes showcasing Gear 5 started surfacing. On June 3, an individual known as @EriesuInformer on Twitter leaked information stating that the “legendary” events from Chapter 1044 would unfold in Episode 1071 of One Piece. Accompanying their post was an alleged screenshot capturing Luffy in his awe-inspiring Gear 5 form.
