
Hazan Kazutake’s “White Saint and Black Rev.” will be made into TV animation. “White Saint and Black Rev.” is an “unconscious romantic comedy” that depicts a cute but self-deprecating saint and a pastor who is overprotective, good at cooking, and insensitive, set in a fantasy world.
It started serializing in Shonen Magazine R (Kodansha) in 2017 and is being serialized in parallel in Manga App Magazine Pocket from 2019. Also, on June 16th, the latest 10 volumes of books were released.

In the TV animation, Junie Noro is the director, Yuka Yamada is in charge of the series composition, Hiromi Nakagawa is in charge of character design, and Doga Kobo is in charge of animation production.
Director Noro has commented, “I’m trying to express such a gentle and warm atmosphere that I want to watch over even if it’s frustrating.” Also, to commemorate the TV animation, an illustration was drawn by the original author, Kazutaka, was released.
