The second promotional video and debut date of July 3 for the television anime adaptation of Nozomu Koryu’s Sweet Reincarnation (Okashi na Tensei: Saikyō Patishie Isekai Kōrin) light novels were unveiled on the official website.

The website also unveiled the show’s theme songs, showcasing an exciting lineup. “Brand New Day,” the opening theme song, will be performed by sana from sajou no hana, while the ending theme song, “Fūmizekka” (Delicious Taste), will be brought to life by the talented YuNi. The accompanying video offers a delightful glimpse into the captivating melodies of the opening theme.

Naoyuki Kuzuya, the director of “Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire,” is helming the anime in collaboration with Studio Comet. Mitsutaka Hirota, the talented writer and supervisor behind the show’s scripts, is lending his expertise. Tomoko Miyakawa, known for her exceptional work in “Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire” as a sub-character designer, is lending her artistic skills to create captivating characters. Hiroshi Nakamura, the renowned composer behind “The Dragon Dentist,” is orchestrating the mesmerizing music for the series.
J-Novel Club has taken up the responsibility of releasing Seriko Iida’s manga adaptation of the novels. Their vivid portrayal of the story is as follows: Meet Pastry Mille Morteln, a 9-year-old inheritor of his father’s legacy and the reincarnation of an unfulfilled pastry chef. Though he yearns for a land brimming with delectable treats, he must first navigate the challenges that lie ahead. From mastering combat skills to harnessing his newfound magical abilities and safeguarding his village from bandits, his journey is arduous. Yet amidst it all, his truest desire remains to bake the perfect apple pie. Pastry Mille Morteln faces an uphill battle in his sweet reincarnation.
The original novel series by Koryu made its debut on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in February 2015. TO Books is responsible for publishing the printed volumes with illustrations by the talented Yasuyuki Shuri. The manga adaptation, launched by Iida on the Comic Corona section of the Nico Nico Seiga service in December 2017, is an ongoing project.
Exciting news awaits fans as the G123 platform plans to release an English text version of the game based on the series.
