In an exciting update from Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime magazine, the October release revealed that Naoko Kodama has an upcoming manga premiere.

Titled “Usotsuki Hanayome to Dōsei Kekkon-ron” (translating to “Lying Brides and Same-Sex Marriage Theory”), this new manga is set to debut in the November issue on September 15. Notably, Kodama herself took to Twitter to share the magazine’s announcement last Friday.

With a thought-provoking tease, the manga announcement questions, “Does marriage truly define a woman’s happiness?”
Kodama’s previous works include the yuri manga “Days of Love at Seagull Villa” (Umineko-sō Days), launched in Comic Yuri Hime back in January 2019.

The manga’s journey saw its first compiled volume published by Ichijinsha in May 2019, followed by the conclusive third volume in September 2020. English readers were also catered to, as Seven Seas brought this manga to the English audience.
Among Kodama’s accomplishments is the “NTR: Netsuzou Trap” manga, a series that later inspired a 2017 television anime adaptation.
The manga concluded its run in December 2017, and English readers once again enjoyed Kodama’s storytelling through all six volumes published by Seven Seas.
