SPY×FAMILY Code: White Film Teaser Reveals Exciting Preview

The teaser for the Gekijōban SPY×FAMILY Code: White movie was unveiled on Sunday, precisely at 11:59 p.m. (10:59 a.m. EDT), with the film’s staff taking the lead.

On June 20, a captivating teaser visual created by renowned chief animation director Kyoji Asano made its grand debut in theaters.

The eagerly anticipated film is set to debut on December 22, showcasing a completely original story. Tatsuya Endō, the original manga creator, is credited with the film’s original work and character designs and is also overseeing its production. WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks, the talented animation studios, will once again bring this film to life. Under the direction of Takashi Katagiri, with scriptwriting by Ichiro Okouchi, the film promises to captivate audiences.

Kazuaki Shimada takes charge as the character designer, while Kana Ishida contributes as the sub-character designer. Kyoji Asano, the chief animation director, has also crafted the stunning visual for the film. Assisting in the animation supervision is Kazuhiro Furuhashi. Meanwhile, the talented music producer [K]NoW_NAME and sound director Shōji Hata are part of the creative team, adding their expertise to enhance the film’s overall experience.

As for the anime’s highly anticipated second season, viewers can expect its premiere in October on TV Tokyo and other channels. Once again, WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks will collaborate, led by the experienced director Kazuhiro Furuhashi. Takahiro Harada returns as the assistant director, while Ichiro Okouchi takes on the role of the new series script supervisor, succeeding Furuhashi.

Assisting them as series script supervisors are Daishiro Tanimura and Ayumu Hisao. Kazuaki Shimada resumes his position as the character designer, while [K]NoW_NAME continues their role as the talented music producer. The soundscape of the series will be shaped by the skillful sound director, Shōji Hata.

The inaugural season’s initial installment debuted in April 2022, with Crunchyroll simulcasting both its original airing and an English dubbed version. The anime’s latter half premiered in Japan on October 1, and Crunchyroll continued to stream the series as it unfolded.

Leading the production was Kazuhiro Furuhashi, esteemed for his work on Mobile Suit Gundam UC, Rurouni Kenshin, Getbackers, and the 2019 adaptation of Dororo. Wit Studio and CloverWorks collaborated under Furuhashi’s direction, while Kazuaki Shimada, renowned for his contributions to The Promised Neverland, handled character design. [K]NoW_NAME, known for their work on Fairy gone, Dorohedoro, and Sakura Quest, lent their musical prowess as the show’s producer.

Shueisha simultaneously publishes the manga in English through its MANGA Plus service, while Viz Media introduced the manga to its app as a component of its Shonen Jump subscription in September 2019. Furthermore, Viz Media is releasing the manga in physical print form. In March-May 2023, the manga will serve as the inspiration for a stage musical adaptation.
