Shogakukan’s website lists volume 16 of the compiled book of Sōichirō Yamamoto’s Teasing Master Takagi-san (Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san) manga with a sneak peek for a third season of anime and film in 2022. A Twitter account of a group of fans supporting the possible third season pointed to Shogakukan’s listing on Friday, but the anime’s official Twitter account (not one for the manga) has not announced a new season.

The first television anime based on the manga premiered within the “Anime no Me” programming block in January 2018, and also adapted Yamamoto’s Ashita wa Doyōbi manga as segments within the show. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan, and Funimation streamed the series with an English dub. The second season of the television anime premiered in July 2019. The season debuted on Netflix in December 2019.
Funimation describes the story:
Tired of being mercilessly teased by her classmate Takagi of hers, Nishikata has vowed to win her back and successfully taunt the girl who made him blush countless times. After all, if you blush, you lose! But getting revenge is not so easy when every attempt explodes in your face. Will Nishikata ever make Takagi blush or will she get something more satisfying from his clumsy attempts?
Yen Press is releasing the manga in English.
Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san VR 1 & 2 Gakki (Teasing Master Takagi-san VR 1st and 2nd semester), an expanded version of the manga’s virtual reality (VR) anime, released for Oculus Quest last December.
Teasing Master Takagi-san is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Sōichirō Yamamoto. The series presents the daily life of Takagi, who loves to tease his classmate Nishikata, and Nishikata’s failed attempts to get revenge on her. In North America, the manga is licensed by Yen Press.
