The official website for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime season 2 began streaming a new promotional video for the anime on Monday. The video reveals and previews the opening theme for TRUE’s anime “Storyteller,” and also reveals new cast members. The site also revealed that STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION will be performing the ending theme song.
The site also has a new mini-game titled “Rimuru Jump! Unique Skill: Hanerumono,” where players touch the screen to make Rimuru jump to go to higher points.

The anime will premiere on January 12 in Japan.
Crunchyroll will stream the season in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East. Funimation will air the English-subtitled version on January 5, and will air an English dub at a date to be announced later.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Japanese: 転 生 し た ら ス ラ イ ム だ っ た 件, Hepburn: Tensei Shitara Suraimu Datta Ken) also known as TenSura (転 ス ラ) or Slime Isekai is a series of Japanese fantasy light novels written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. It was serialized online between 2013 and 2016 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. It was acquired by Micro Magazine, which published the first light novel volume in 2014. Sixteen volumes have been released as of March 2020. The light novel has been licensed in North America by Yen Press, which published the first volume in December 2017. received a manga adaptation published by Kodansha along with three derivative manga published respectively by Micro Magazine and Kodansha and an anime television series adaptation of Eight Bit, which aired from October 2018 to March 2019.
A second season was scheduled of the anime series will premiere in October 2020, but it was delayed to January 2021 due to COVID-19, and an anime adaptation of the second spinoff manga was scheduled to premiere in January 2021 but delayed until April 2021. 2021 due to the same circumstances.
