The November edition of Kadokawa’s Comp Ace magazine marked the conclusion of the Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! Shadow Gaiden (The Eminence in Shadow – Shadow Side Story) manga by Seta U, which had been serialized since July 2019.
The eagerly anticipated sixth volume is scheduled for release on October 26.

This manga spinoff is based on Daisuke Aizawa’s light novel series, “The Eminence in Shadow (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!).” Aizawa initially started the story on the “Shōsetsuka ni Narō” (Let’s Become Novelists) website in May 2018.
The fifth volume was published by Kadokawa in December. Yen Press has been responsible for the English releases, with the fourth volume hitting shelves in June 2022.

The popularity of the light novels led to a separate manga adaptation by Anri Sakano, which debuted in Comp Ace in December 2018. Kadokawa released the eleventh volume in May, with Yen Press also handling English publication. Volume 8 is set to arrive in English on November 21.

This engaging series has made its mark in the anime world, with the first season premiering in October 2022. Fans can look forward to the second season’s debut on October 4.
