On Saturday, The Faraway Paladin TV anime (a Saihate no Paladin in Japan) by Kanata Yanagino is going to get a second season. The TV anime is an adaptation of the popular Light Novel series with the same name and storyline. News is confirmed by the TV anime’s official Twitter account.
Furthermore, the anime’s first episode was released on October 9, 2021, and the 11th aired on this Saturday – 25 December 2021. Yuu Nobuta is the Director of The Faraway Paladin TV anime with Children’s Playground Entertainment animation studios.

The Light Novel series is published by Overlap Bunko Imprint (a Japanese Printing Company) and the English translation is done by J Novel Club in the west. If you have not watched the series yet then here is a quick synopsis of the story below:
In a city of the dead, long since ruined and far from human civilization, lives a single human child. His name is Will, and he’s being raised by three undead: the hearty skeletal warrior, Blood; the graceful mummified priestess, Mary; and the crotchety spectral sorcerer, Gus. The three pour love into the boy, and teach him all they know. But one day, Will starts to wonder: “Who am I?”
Will must unravel the mysteries of this faraway dead man’s land, and unearth the secret pasts of the undead. He must learn the love and mercy of the good gods, and the bigotry and madness of the bad. And when he knows it all, the boy will take his first step on the path to becoming a Paladin.
