The end has come for Renji Fukuhara’s hit manga series, The Invincible Shovel. Fans were heartbroken as the final chapter was published on Thursday on Nico Nico Seiga website. The manga, which is based on Yasohachi Tsuchise and Yūki Hagure’s light novel series of the same name, has been a fan favorite since its launch in September 2019.

The Invincible Shovel tells the story of Alan, an ordinary miner who discovers a mysterious shovel that can shoot lasers and level mountains. With his newfound power, Alan sets out on an epic journey to save a princess and her kingdom.
This manga is a perfect blend of fantasy and adventure, leaving readers on the edge of their seats, as they follow Alan on his journey through a land of shovels and sorcery.

The light novel series, which the manga adapts, was launched on Shōsetsuka ni Narō! website in February 2018 and the first print volume was published by Kadokawa in January 2019, with illustrations by Hagure. Seven Seas Entertainment has been releasing the light novels in English, and it released the fourth volume in July 2021.
The Invincible Shovel is a true masterpiece and has left a lasting impression on its readers. Fans were sad to see it go, but the series will live on through the manga and light novels, which will continue to entertain readers for years to come.
