It was revealed that Yukinori Satake’s manga “The Witch and the Beast” serialized in “Monthly Young Magazine” (Kodansha) will be made into an anime. It was announced in the September issue of the magazine, which was released on August 19. Details will be announced at a later date.
“The Witch and the Beast” is a dark fantasy depicting Guido, who has become a beautiful girl due to the witch’s curse and chases the witch with the magician Ashraf in order to break the curse. In 2016, it started serialization in “Young Magazine Third” (same).
The cumulative circulation of comics is over 500,000 copies. The latest 10 volumes of the comic were released on August 19th. It was also announced that it will be published in six countries around the world.
