Hey guys, welcome back to Animeindia. Jujutsu Kaisen memes and scenes have just broken the internet. Fans have been discussing how this series is an awesome new addition to the shonen anime genre. And anime fight scenes are over the top. So we put together of Topmost strongest characters in the Jujutsu Kaisen world. This list will contain information from the Jujutsu Kaisen manga as well. The characters are listed in accordance to anime but their abilities shown in manga are also shown.

So for anime-only folks, a huge “Spoiler Alert!!!”. We will discuss the working of their powers & abilities. We will also discuss a bit of their back story, to understand how they got their powers.

13. Panda

Panda is a character that you will adore after seeing him. The guy’s personality is very playful, but it doesn’t mean that he is weak. He is the strongest Doll and very unique of his kind. He is not an animal but a cursed corpse (doll) who was created by Masamichi Yaga (Principal of Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College).
Now talking about his abilities. Panda is a Grade 2 Sorcerer. The natural affinity of the panda with Jiu-Jitsu allows him to use his curse solely on his physical strength. He is very intelligent and can think of being one step ahead of his enemies in battle. Panda physiology also poses unique challenges in combat. The only way to defeat him is to destroy the cursed energy core that acts as his heart. Besides, his body is very durable and can be strengthened with Jiu-Jitsu protection. He has enhanced strength, endurance as well as a high tactical intellect. Inside the panda, there are three cores: a balanced panda, a power gorilla, and a third core that has yet to be revealed. If any of these cores are damaged, the panda will not be able to transition to that format until it recovers. Pandas can manipulate cursed energies to forge the location of these cores and effectively compensate for these weaknesses.

12. Nobara Kugisaki

Nobara is a hot-headed girl, who you don’t wanna mess with. She is confident and beautiful, but a the same time a badass who can beat the crap out of you.
Now talking about her abilities she is a Grade 3 Sorcerer. She has an enhanced strength and pain endurance. She is a master of weapons, especially with her hammer and nails. Nobara has demonstrated to have a strong grasp on Jujutsu and the various ways she can combat her opponents. She can use Black Flash, it is a technique that creates spatial distortion when a user connects with an impact of Cursed Energy within 0.000001 seconds of a physical hit. She can also use a combination of different hammer-nails techniques and straw doll techniques.

11. Megumin Fushigoro

Megumin is a guy every girl desires to be her boyfriend. He is tall, handsome with black hair and a serious face. A kind guy hard on the surface but soft and caring in the heart.
Now talking about his abilities he is a Grade 2 Sorcerer. Like Nobara he also has enhanced strength and weapon mastery, but he goes one step ahead with his enhanced speed and high tactical intellect. He can use the Ten Shadow Technique, a technique created by the Zenin family to create Shikigami using shadows, and can process 10 Shikigami at a time. Megumi can use this technique to create various advanced Shikigami, save objects, and put herself in the shadows. He can also use Chimera Shadow Garden, a technique in which the area is full of fluid shadows. But as of now, his domain is incomplete.

10. Maki Zenin

Maki Zenin is one of the most badass girls in Jujutsu Kaisen. She has next to no cursed energy, but she compensates it with her exceptional fighting ability and hard training. Now talking about her abilities she is a real superhuman. Despite having very-low cursed energy she is a formidable opponent. She cannot see Curses without glasses imbued with Cursed Energy. But she has ultimate mastery in using cursed tools and all sorts of weapons. She has enhanced speed & reflexes with enhanced strength. She has high intellect for Jujutsu. It is next to impossible to defeat her in close combat. Maki is only a Grade 4 Sorcerer which is not at all reflective of her actual ability in battle but it is due to some power struggle among families.

9. Toge Inumaki

Toge Inumaki can only express his feelings by naming few ingredients like Bonito flakes, Salmon, Mustard Leaf, etc. It is quite funny, to be honest, but he shows his worth in a battle with only speaking.
Now talking about his abilities, he has a high level of mobility and high endurance as he is a Semi-Grade 1 Sorcerer. But his true power lies in his speech, as he possesses the “Snake & Fangs” seal of the Inumaki Clan on his tongue and around both sides of his mouth. It allows him to infuse his words with Cursed Energy to improve the spirit of his commands, forcing all those who hear it to obey. His ability can spread over a wide range and affect all Curses weaker than him without fail. His very presence on the battlefield makes it difficult for anyone against him to focus due to the nature of his Technique.

8. Kento Nanami

Kento Nanami is our teacher with a serious face and proper corporate suit fitting. Nanami is a well-built man with weird-looking sunglasses. He is a Grade 1 sorcerer who very well defines how strong he is.  Now talking about the abilities he possesses exceptional sword skills with a great tactical intellect. His signature Technique (Ration) can divide his target with ten lines and forcibly create a weak spot at the ratio point of seven to three. Nanami’s primary weapon in battle is a blunt sword wrapped in a cloth with a splattered black dot design. Including he can also use Black Flash and he is also a master of superior precision, cursed energy regulation with binding wow (overtime).

7. Aoi Todo

Aoi Todo is a guy that I wanna become friends with because being on the opposite end is life-threatening. He is a Grade 1 sorcerer like Nanami but he goes one step further with that. Now talking about his abilities he possesses incredible physical strength and speed. He is a master of hand-to-hand combat combined with great tactical intellect in battle. He also possesses an exceptional amount of cursed energy and can also use Black Flash. Aoi’s innate technique Boogie Woogie allows him to switch positions with the cursed energy within his range with the applause of his hand. He can also change himself to another person’s location or switch between two different parties other than himself. Todo has also mastered the technique of Domain Expansion.

6. Jogo & Hanami

Jogo – He is a cursed spirit that is born with human’s fear of earth. According to Geto, Jogo has a large amount of cursed energy, which is generously equivalent to Sukuna’s eight to nine fingers. He uses his Jiu-Jitsu in the form of fire and lava attacks. Jogo can even incinerate an entire person. He can use abilities such as Disaster Flames, Ember Insects, Maximum: Meteor. He also learned the technique of domain expansion.

Hanami – He is a cursed spirit that is born with human’s fear of trees. Hanami has a naturally high cursed energy level, though not as much as the castle town. The difference between his energy and Toge’s energy was so great that Toge quickly reached the limit with cursed speech with only a few weak commands. Through the fight against Megumi, Toge, Noritoshi, and Maki, he was able to continue to use his innate technique. He had many awesome abilities but we really never saw his domain expansion.

5. Mahito

Mahito is a cursed spirit as well that is born with human hatred & the fear of each other. Mahito is free to use much more cursed energy than the Skuna ship after consuming three fingers. Mahito can use cursed techniques repeatedly without running out of cursed energy. Mahito’s cursed technique gives him the ability to reshape his soul. In doing so, he transforms the victim’s body, heals his wounds, turns his appendages into weapons, and allows for endless other possible changes. He has also mastered domain extension. But only Yuji can hurt his soul. In my personal opinion, his abilities are far dangerous than Jogo that’s why he is above him.

4. Yuta Okkotsu

Yuta Okkotsu is one of the 4 special-grade shamans in the Jujutsu Kaisen series, who is currently studying overseas. Yuta’s power comes from his relationship with Sugawara no Michizane, but first appeared when he turned Rika (his late childhood friend) into a cursed spirit. Rika has become such a powerful spirit that Surugu Geto, an avid collector of her powerful cursed spirit, called her the “Queen of Curses.” As a cursed spirit, Rika has an infinite amount of cursed energy that can be shaped into any technique.

3. Yuji Itadori / Ryoumen Sukuna

(For this list only we will consider Yuji and Sukuna as a single entity)

Yuji is the main protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen, who become the vessel for King of Curses Rynoumen Sakuna after eating on of his heal finger. Most of the abilities of Yuji come from Sakuna as he is kind of a legend among shamans, Sakuna is currently weak and Yuji can control him in his body. As for Yuji, he is physically very strong as he has enhanced speed and reflexes with super strength and stamina. He is also great in hand-to-hand combat.
As for Sakuna he is very overpowered as he has mastery on every single type of curse. His domain Malevolent Shrine is one of the most deadly and powerful domain expansions on Jujutsu Kaisen.

2. Suguru Geto

Suguru Geto is one of the main Big Bad of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He is undoubtedly one of the strongest characters of the series as he is one of 4 special-grade shamans. Suguru was the classmate/good friend of Satoru Gojo and the student of Principal Masamichi Yaiga during his time at Jujutsu Tech.
Geto is a very capable hand-to-hand combat and has knowledge of both martial arts and non-martial arts. Enemies tend to underestimate his physical abilities because of his ability to manipulate cursed spirits and fight for him. He is also a seasoned user of cursed tools, as he was able to wield a special grade of a cursed tool, Playful Cloud, against Yuta Omitsu. Geto’s Cursed Technique is called Cursed Spirit Manipulation. This ability allows him to absorb and control cursed spirits. It is really a super-powerful ability in the world of spirits.

1. Satoru Gojo

Satoru Gojo is undoubtedly the strongest character as he is known within Jujutsu society as the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer. Gojo’s Cursed Energy is large enough to use domain expansion multiple times a day, but most sorcerers can only use it once.
He can incredibly control his cursed energies, activate his domain in an instant, use reverse cursed techniques, and even combine positive and negative cursed energies. Gojo is also known for having two comprehensive abilities, he has both six eyes and the infinite cursed technique of the Gojo clan for the first time in a hundred years.
Gojo’s domain is “Limitless”, which causes the actions the opponent takes in life to be forced upon them indefinitely. Little is known about Six Eyes, but it is known to play a role in the exact usage of Limitless.
