We wait in anticipation to witness the sketches of battles beyond our wildest imaginations. The magic of Japanese anime is that it expresses the power of the imagination through animation and mangas and manhwas possess the raw sketches of ideas of those glamourous and mind-blowing action scenes.

Top 22 Best Manga/Manhwa with Overpowered Protagonists

Nonetheless, there is a certain class of protagonists who are not only incredibly strong but overpowered to the point that there’s not much that can truly present a challenge. After finishing his military service, Han-bin is chilling on his desktop when suddenly he gets summoned to a different world. To escape the hell he is sent to, he has to level up by killing monsters. But his malfunctioning guideline makes him suffer for twenty years.

This Webtoon took the phrase “what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger” too literally. Han-bin, after being sent to hell, is transferred to a paradise. Here he has to blend in, for if he is found out, he will be executed. But the funny thing is no one is even able to execute him in the first place.

21) Mashle: Magic and Muscles

This isekai manga is pretty similar to That Time I got reincarnated as a slime and funny to read.

Ristarte wastes no time in summoning Seiya to the celestial realm. But, she misses noticing the comment on his personality: unbelievably cautious.

The problem of this hero lies in the title. He is unbelievably cautious. He does not start a fight unless he is completely sure of the outcome. But this manga puts a bigger focus on comedy.

I consider myself an anime fan and I don’t like to watch typical top animes. I prefer lesser-known animes and try to find better animes than my expectation. I love to judge animes from different perspectives. I grew up at Murshidabad, a city full of rich pre-colonial history of Nawabs in West Bengal. Later I moved to Kolkata for university degrees. I was intrigued by animes that were first aired on Cartoon Network around early 2000. Pre-independence historical events are also his subject of interest. I’m also a short story lover and writer.
