In its early years, J.C. Staff specialized in Original Video Animation (OVA). After that, J.C. Staff made the move to television with the release of Metal Fighter Miku in the summer of 1994. It has since produced or contributed to over 200 animated works on its own.

J.C. Staff Co., Ltd. is a Japanese animation studio founded in January 1986 by Tomoyuki Miyata, who previously worked at Tatsunoko Production. The J and C stand for “Japan Creative.” The studio’s first release was Yōtōden in 1987.

15. UFO Baby

UFO Baby is a 78-episode anime television series produced by NHK, animated by J.C. Staff, and directed by Hiroaki Sakurai. It was broadcast between March 2000 and February 2002 on NHK’s BS2 broadcast satellite network. This series was one of the top-rated anime series during its initial broadcast.

The story of this anime follows two junior high school students, Miyu and Kanata, who find (and take care of) an abandoned alien baby without anyone discovering they are living together without an adult.

Date a Live is a sci-fi/romantic comedy series produced by Studio J.C. Staff that aired on AT-X, Tokyo MX, GBS, TVS, SUN, TVQ, Chiba TV, TwellV, and MTV from April 6, 2013 to the present.

This anime follows A boy named Itsuka Shido meets a spirit girl who has been rejected by a devastated world. The girl, whom Shido names Tohka, happens to have wiped out much of humanity 30 years ago, and now she is back. The only way to stop her is to date her.

Toradora is a rom-com slice of life anime series produced by Studio J.C. Staff that aired from October 2, 2008–March 26, 2009 on TV Tokyo and TV5.

This anime’s story revolves around Ryuuji Takasu. Despite his gentle personality, his eyes make him look like an intimidating delinquent. Class rearrangements in his second high school year put him together with his best friend, Yusaku Kitamura, and his hidden crush, Minori Kushieda.

12. The Way of the Househusband

The Way of the Househusband is an action/comedy anime series inspired by the manga of the same name, which was written and illustrated by Kousuke Oono. This manga has been published in the online manga magazine Kurage Bunch since 2018.

This series follows the story of Tatsu, an infamous and feared yakuza boss nicknamed “the Immortal Dragon,” who retires from crime to become a househusband so that he can support Miku, his kyariauman wife.

The episodic series depicts a variety of comedic scenarios, typically wherein Tatsu’s banal domestic work as a househusband is juxtaposed against his intimidating personality and appearance, and his frequent run-ins with former yakuza associates and rivals.

She finds herself drawn into a series of sword duels to win the hand of Anthy Himemiya, a mysterious girl known as the “Rose Bride” who possesses the “power to revolutionize the world”.

The story of this series follows the adventures of Bell Cranel, a 14-year-old rookie adventurer and sole member of the Hestia Familia. He looks up to Ais Wallenstein, a famous and powerful swordswoman of the Loki Familia, and vows to become as strong as her after a chance encounter where she saves his life from a powerful monster.

While Ais is the object of Bell’s romantic affection, several other girls, deities and mortals alike, have similar feelings for him; most notably, Hestia herself.

Bakuman is a comedy drama anime series produced by studio J.C. Staff that aired from October 02, 2010 to April 02, 2011. Bakuman follows the stories of Mashiro Morikata and Akito Takagi, two youngsters who set out to become successful mangakas in Japan’s growing but fiercely competitive manga industry.

Mashiro’s own uncle was a mangaka who worked himself to death, which made him apprehensive about following in his footsteps.

The anime is adapted from the original manga of the same name. The Disastrous Life of Saiki K is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shuichi Aso. The manga was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from May 2012 to February 2018 after a series of one-shot chapters were published from 2010 to 2011.

It follows the life of Kusuo Saiki, one of the high school students who was born with powers that include psychokinesis and teleportation. He attempts to hide it from everyone at school. He is put in several seemingly normal scenarios in which he uses it to hide his special powers.

It is a 2019 90-minute Japanese animated film based on the KonoSuba light novel series by Natsume Akatsuki. The film was produced by J.C. Staff and directed by Takaomi Kanasaki. It was released on August 30, 2019 in Japan.

This anime shows The Crimson Demon village that Megumin and Yunyun are from is facing a threat that could mean its end. Kazuma and his gang follow Yunyun, who returns to the Crimson Demon village intent on saving it when they are faced with their greatest threat yet.

1. One Punch Man (season 2)

The second season of the One-Punch Man anime series is animated by J.C. Staff, with Chikara Sakurai replacing Shingo Natsume as director. The second season aired between April 9, 2019 and July 2, 2019, while a television special aired on April 2, 2019.

This anime follows the story after Boros and his mighty army are defeated. Saitama has returned to his unremarkable everyday life in Z-City. However, unbeknownst to him, the number of monsters appearing is still continuously on the rise, putting a strain on the Hero Association’s resources.
