Top Famous Anime Adapted from Video Game

Anime and Video games are 2 of the most popular entertainment mediums around the globe. Success of one lead to adaptation in another one. Today we are going to look at the most popular anime series which are adapted from video games. Here is the list .

Street Fighter II: V

There are many different anime based on street fighters, but this one is the best out of all of them. The story deals with the rivalry of Ryu and Ken and their journey to become better fighters, which eventually, leads them to the main villain M.Bison and the Shadowlaw organization.

Mega Man

Capcom’s Mega Man also has many anime based on it, but the best out of them is Rockman.EXE Axess. It aired from October 2003 to September 2004. The story goes as Hikari Netto with his NetNavi and his best friend, with the help of the Synchro Chip they can fuse in the real world, with which they fight for peace against the evils of the Dark Loid.

Persona

Like previous, persona also has many anime adaptations best out of them is Persona 4. The anime is very faithful to the game and all of the characters are well written. The story revolves around Yuu Narukami who moved to Inaba a quiet town. Soon he realizes that he can traverse through the TV into another world. Now, Yuu and his friends try to solve the case of mysterious killing going around the town.

God Eater

The name of the anime is the same as the game God Eater. Aired in 2015 till 2016. The story starts when humans are on the verge of extinction, and the planet is ruled by the Aragami. Aragami can only be defeated by specially made blades called God arcs. And the wielders of these blades are called God Eaters. Anime tells us about one such teenager named Lenka who decides to become God Eater after his parents were eaten by the Aragami.

Inazuma 11

Based on a game with the same name Inazuma 11 is a sports anime based on soccer. Endou Mamoru is the goalkeeper of his team which has 6 other players. One day team was near disbandment due to Natsumi the only way to survive is to defeat the Teikoku Gakuen, apparently the best team in Japan. Now Endou has to find four more players and defeat teikoku.

Danganronpa

Danganronpa is personally one of my favorite anime. So, the story is that 16 students are trapped in Hope’s Peak Academy, and their principal is Monokuma an anthropomorphic bear. They can only get out of the academy is by murdering a student and be found not guilty in the trials. I would suggest playing the game too.

Final Fantasy

Final fantasy is considered one of the best franchises in gaming. Like all others, it also has many anime adaptations. The one which is most praised is the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete the movie gives us deeper details of the origin of the main characters and an extended fight scene between Cloud and Sephiroth.

Fate/Stay Night

Fate series has many successful series one such is the Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blades Works. The story is about a magi Rin who takes part in the holy grail war with her servant Archer and her classmate Amiya. To get her hands on the ultimate prize she has to defeat a series of strong enemies.

Stein’s Gate

Well, stein’s gate got more success in its anime series than through its game. The story is about a self-proclaimed mad scientist Rintarou Okabe. Who creates a device that can send a message in past, while experimenting he ends up messing with the timeline. Now he has to restore the original timeline to save his precious lab member.

Pokémon

Pokémon has been going on, for now, more than 23 years and has many series. But Pokémon XYZ is the best one out of them. The series continues from Pokémon XY, as Ash Ketchum with Pikachu, the two siblings Clemont and Bonnie, and his childhood friend Serena continue to explore the Kalos region, find new Kalos Pokémon, and learning new secrets about Mega Evolution.
