Follow protagonist Katarina Claes as she navigates the world of dating sim games and tries to escape her predetermined “villainess” fate. The first episode of the anime adaptation premiered on April 3, 2020 on AT-X and Tokyo MX, and on April 4 on Yomiuri TV and BS NTV. The streaming platform Crunchyroll began offering the anime for streaming on the same day, including an English dubbed version.
In a world where dating sim games have taken over, Leon finds himself reincarnated into one where only the most attractive men have a chance at love. But Leon has a secret advantage – he remembers everything from his past life, including a full playthrough of the very game in which he’s now trapped. Using his knowledge and determination, he sets out to spark a revolution and change the oppressive rules of this new world, all in the hopes of eventually finding peace in the countryside. Can Leon navigate the challenges and challenges of this cutthroat dating sim and come out on top?

The anime adaptation was directed by Kazuya Miura and Shin’ichi Fukumoto at ENGI, with character design by Masahiko Suzuki and series scripts by Kenta Ihara. The opening theme song “Silent Minority” was performed by Kashitarō Itō, while the ending theme song “selfish” was performed by Riko Azuna.
The series has also been adapted into a manga, which is serialized on Fujimi Shobo’s Dra Dra Shop# service. The 11th novel in the light novel series will be released on December 28, along with the first volume of a spinoff novel. Fans can look forward to more romance and adventure in the highly-anticipated second season.
