On Friday, Overlap made an exciting announcement about the 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy! (Loop 7-kaime no Akuyaku Reijō wa, Moto Tekikoku de Jiyū Kimamana Hanayome Seikatsu o Mankitsu Suru) light novel series.
They revealed that the series will be adapted into a television anime premiering in 2024. Alongside this news, Overlap released a captivating promotional video, a stunning visual, introduced the first pair of cast members, and unveiled the anime’s talented staff.

Taking on prominent roles, Ikumi Hasegawa will star as Rishe Imgard Wertsner, while Nobunaga Shimazaki will shine as Arnold Hein.
Guiding the production, Kazuya Iwata (known for Yōjo Shachō R) will be the director, collaborating with Studio KAI and HORNETS. Handling the series composition is Touko Machida (recognized for works like Smile Down the Runway and Harukana Receive).
Bringing life to the characters’ appearances is Kenichi Ōnuki (renowned for contributions to Golden Kamuy and AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline), with sub-character designers Wakako Yoshida, Minoru Tanaka, and Chisa Shibata. Overseeing animation are Hideki Inoue and Tōru Imanishi, while the music will be crafted by the talented Satoshi Hōno and Ryūnosuke Kasai.

In October 2020, Overlap released the first printed volume featuring illustrations by Wan Hachipisu. The upcoming fifth novel volume, set to debut on August 25, will be published by Overlap. The fourth novel volume, published by Seven Seas Entertainment, was released on August 1.

Concurrently, the manga adaptation of the novels was initiated by Hinoki Kino on Overlap’s Comic Gardo manga website in December 2020. The fifth compiled volume of the manga is scheduled for publication by Overlap on August 25. Seven Seas Entertainment recently published the third volume of the manga on June 27.
