On Friday, Kadokawa unveiled additional cast members for the TV anime adaptation of Sawayoshi Azuma’s manga, “Oroka na Tenshi wa Akuma to Odoru” (translated as “Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil”).

Joining the cast are new characters (official romanizations for character names are pending):
- Nao Tōyama as Yūka Tanabashi
- Shunichi Toki as Kensaku Hirota
- Shūichirō Umeda as Yūya Tanigawa

The anime will premiere in 2024 and stars:
- Ayane Sakura as Lily Amane
- Yūma Uchida as Masatora Akutsu
Itsuro Kawasaki, known for works like “Cardfight!! Vanguard G NEXT” and “The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting,” assumes the role of overseeing series scripts and directing the anime at Children’s Playground Entertainment, in collaboration with GAINA.
The task of character design falls upon Yūko Yahiro, recognized for contributions to “Diabolik Lovers” and “Kaguya-sama: Love is War.” Takurō Iga, noted for compositions in “Oshi no Ko” and “Fuuka,” takes charge of crafting the music, while music production is helmed by ANLA.

Set within the realm of romantic comedy, the story revolves around Masatora Akutsu, who ventures into the human world in search of an idol for demons. His path intersects with Lily Amane, leading him to extend an invitation to her.
Yet, revelations surface, uncovering Amane’s true identity as an angel. This revelation compels Akutsu to embark on a mission to tempt her from her celestial grace.

The manga’s inception occurred in June 2016 within Kadokawa’s Dengeki Maoh magazine, courtesy of Azuma. The 15th compiled volume of the manga, published by Kadokawa, saw its release on April 27.
