The official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of Tamiki Wakaki’s manga “365 Days to the Wedding” (Kekkon Surutte, Hontō Desu ka?: 365 Days to the Wedding) announced on Friday that the TV broadcast of the anime has been confirmed. The manga, licensed by Seven Seas, follows the story of Takuya and Rika, colleagues at a Tokyo travel agency.
Although they are both single and content with their introverted lives, their workplace is considering a transfer to Siberia, prioritizing unmarried employees. Desperate to avoid the relocation, Rika proposes an idea to Takuya: they can pretend to be married for a year, allowing them to stay in Tokyo.
The catch is that they barely know each other. Can this fabricated relationship between two reserved coworkers evolve into something genuine? Wakaki began serializing the manga in Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine in March 2020.
