
Netflix is continuing its Geeked Week theme of virtual ads for its schedule list, with a heavy focus on anime for yesterday’s list. Unless otherwise noted, the titles listed will be released globally on select release dates.

The first major anime-related announcement is the acquisition of the feature film Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway. The film suffered another theatrical release delay in Japan last month, due to the ongoing COVID-19 state of emergency in many major cities and prefectures. The movie is scheduled for a Netflix release on July 1, according to the Netflix Anime trailer on YouTube.

The Shaman King reboot television anime will finally see a global release on August 9, after premiering exclusively in Japan and select international territories earlier this year on Netflix in April.
