The TV anime “Vinland Saga” SEASON 2 based on Makoto Yukimura will start broadcasting on TOKYO MX, BS11, and others from January 9, 2023. A trailer using the opening theme was also released. “Vinland Saga” is the story of Thorfinn, the son of the strongest warrior, aiming for the phantom continent “Vinland” while living on the battlefield at the end of the millennium when the Vikings did their best.
The opening theme is Anonymouz’s “River”. Anonymous commented on the song, “While writing this song, I repeatedly thought of Thorfinn, who lost his only purpose and faced love and pain, flowing into an unknown world.”In SEASON 2, after the death of his father-killing enemy Askeladd, the main character Thorfinn, who is in despair, is depicted living as a slave.
